Abbey Sy Journaling Workshop at SM Stationery Art Fest (Oct 15, 2016)

What a memorable day it was for an aspiring hand letterer like me! Despite of the hectic schedule, (being a YW Secretary is so, so hard) I was able to attend the first workshop conducted by no other than Ms. Abbey Sy! Yes… and it is for free! Well, the workshop was sponsored by SM Stationery at SM Mall of Asia so I need to buy items for at least 350 php. So here’s the actual photos I took during the workshop.

TA-DA! On the table, they gave few pens and artist papers we can use during the workshop. I really liked the recently launched Calligraphy Brush Pens of Faber Castell. It’s so convenient to use. Abbey Sy used it too in her journal.

While waiting for the time for the workshop to start. 🙂 I’m so punctual. Haha.

Always remember that.

And there she is! She started sharing her experiences as a self-taught hand letterer. I loved how she wrote that word “Hobbies.” Her journal is so handy. I didn’t expect it to be that small. Anyway, the workshop is so beneficial for me as I am already writing some in my journal.

After the workshop, of course, the meet and greet! I’m so happy, isn’t it obvious? Fangirling at its finest! Hahaha. She is so humble and approachable.

❤ ❤ ❤ There’s me and Ms. Abbey Sy! ❤ So much love for this photo! I wish I will be able to attend more of her workshops. Ipon muna. Processed with VSCO with g3 preset

I must give thanks to SM Stationery Art Fest for this  unexpected experience… I was able to gain friends at the same time. Thanks to them, I have these photos and also the photo with Abbey Sy. ❤ Thanks also to the free Instax Photos. I learned so much that day. But I was in a hurry that time because of the YW Activity I had to attend to. 😦 How I wish I can attend more of the workshops that day!

So, thanks for reading. Yeah, I know, I am not here to impress you with special skills in blogging. I love to write but not the very perfect way of writing. Okay, that’s all!
